Delicious cinnamon sugar cookies that are easy to make and perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients

- 16 tablespoons unsalted butter (melted and cooled to room temperature)
- 2/3 cup granulated sugar
- 2/3 cup light brown sugar (firmly packed)
- 1 large egg
- 1 large egg yolk
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2–3/4 cups flour (see note 1)
- 1–1/2 teaspoons cream of tartar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 3/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3 teaspoons ground cinnamon
Instructions
- In a large microwave-safe bowl, melt butter.
- Mix in the remaining ingredients accordingly.
- Bake for 9–12 minutes, avoiding overbaking; slight under-baking is ideal!
- If any cookies have uneven edges, gently press them inward with a metal spatula.
- Remove tray from oven and let cookies rest on the sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a cooling rack.

- Note 1: You can adjust the flour amount slightly based on dough consistency.
