- 1 pound carrots, peeled and cut into fry-sized sticks
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika (optional)
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, toss the carrot sticks with olive oil until evenly coated.
- In a small bowl, mix the Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Sprinkle the Parmesan mixture over the carrots and toss again until all pieces are well coated.
- Spread the carrots in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet, ensuring they are not touching.
- Roast for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the carrots are tender and the edges are crispy and golden brown.
- Remove from the oven, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve immediately.
Notes
- For an extra kick, you can add more paprika or some cayenne pepper.
- These roasted carrots can be served warm or at room temperature.
