Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 cups elbow macaroni
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 can (14 oz) diced tomatoes
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • ¼ cup chopped green onions
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • ½ cup milk

Instructions

  1. Cook the Beef
    Brown ground beef in a skillet over medium-high heat.
    Drain excess fat and return to heat.
  2. Season the Beef
    Stir in taco seasoning and water.
    Simmer for 5 minutes until thickened.
  3. Cook the Pasta
    Boil macaroni in salted water until tender.
    Drain and set aside.
  4. Build the Base
    Heat olive oil in the pasta pot.
    Add diced tomatoes and warm gently.
  5. Combine
    Add macaroni and seasoned beef.
    Stir until evenly mixed.

    Pour in milk.
