Description

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
  • Dulce de leche or chocolate spread

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out the thawed puff pastry on a lightly floured surface to about 12×8 inches, ensuring even thickness throughout.
  3. Brush the entire surface of the pastry with melted butter, reaching all the way to the edges.
  4. Mix granulated sugar and ground cinnamon in a small bowl, then sprinkle the mixture generously over the buttered pastry.
  5. Cut the pastry into 8-10 strips using a sharp knife or pizza cutter, each about 1 inch wide.
  6. Twist each strip into a spiral by holding both ends and rotating in opposite directions.
  7. Place the twisted pastries on your prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown and puffed.
  9. Serve immediately while still warm for the best texture contrast.
