  • 1 tbsp honey or brown sugar
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch mixed with 2 tbsp water

Instructions

  1. Chop chicken into bite-sized pieces; slice cabbage and carrots.
  2. Heat oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Sauté chicken until golden brown (5-7 minutes).
  3. Add garlic and ginger; cook until fragrant (30 seconds).
  4. Then add cabbage and carrots; sauté until slightly softened (3-4 minutes).
  5. In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey (or brown sugar), sesame oil, and cornstarch mixture. Pour over chicken and vegetables.
  6. Cook until the sauce thickens and coats the stir-fry (2-3 minutes). Serve hot.
