- 2 (6 oz) fresh salmon fillets, skin-on
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp fresh dill or parsley, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Pat the salmon fillets dry and season both sides generously with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
- Place the salmon fillets skin-side down in the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes until the skin is crispy.
- Gently flip the fillets, reduce heat slightly, then add minced garlic and lemon juice around them. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until cooked through.
- Remove from heat and garnish with fresh dill or parsley before serving.
Notes
- For best results, use a hot skillet to get the skin crispy.
- Monitor the cooking time closely to avoid overcooking the salmon.
