This delicious bread pudding made with day-old brioche or challah is topped with a warm praline sauce for an indulgent dessert.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • ½ cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup maple syrup

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a large baking dish.
  2. In a bowl, mix cubed bread with chopped pecans.
  3. In another bowl, whisk eggs, milk, brown sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Pour over the bread mixture and simmer for about five minutes.
