Description
This delicious pizza bread is perfect for a party or family meal, serving 6 to 8 people. It’s easy to make and packed with flavor, while being completely pork-free.

- 1 large loaf French bread
- 1 cup (240 ml) marinara or pizza sauce
- 2 cups (200 g) shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup (50 g) shredded Parmesan cheese
- 1 lb (450 g) ground beef
- ½ cup beef or turkey pepperoni (pork-free)
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 190°C (375°F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Slice the French bread in half lengthwise and place cut-side up.
- In a skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat. Stir in Italian seasoning and garlic powder.
- Brush bread lightly with olive oil. Spread pizza sauce evenly over both halves.
- Sprinkle half of the mozzarella over the sauce.
- Add cooked ground beef and beef/turkey pepperoni.
- Top with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan.
- Bake 12–15 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly. Broil 1–2 minutes for a golden top if desired.
- Let rest a few minutes, slice, and serve.
