Description

Ingredients

  • 4 ears fresh corn on the cob (husks and silks removed)
  • 4 quarts water
  • 1 teaspoon salt (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons butter (optional, for serving)

Instructions

  1. Fill a large pot with water and bring it to a boil over high heat.
  2. Add the shucked corn cobs to the boiling water.
  3. Cover the pot and return the water to a boil.
  4. Once boiling again, cook the corn for 5-7 minutes until tender and bright yellow.
