- 2 lbs (900 g) ground beef
- ½ yellow onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 bag (28–32 oz / 800–900 g) frozen French fries
- 2 cups (200 g) shredded cheddar cheese
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons ketchup
- 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
- 1 tablespoon pickle relish
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon paprika
- Cooked bacon bits
- Diced pickles
- Chopped parsley
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F).
- In a skillet, cook ground beef with onion and garlic over medium heat until browned. Drain excess grease. Season with salt and pepper.
- Spread frozen fries in a 9×13-inch baking dish. Bake for 15 minutes to crisp slightly.
- Remove from oven and evenly spread cooked beef over fries.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top.
- Return to oven and bake 10–15 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Mix all burger sauce ingredients until smooth.
- Drizzle sauce over hot casserole and add optional toppings before serving.
