- 3 tablespoons butter, melted
- 3 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
- 3 large eggs
- 1 tablespoon milk
- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
- Butter or oil for frying
Instructions
- Prepare the Bread: Flatten each slice of bread using a rolling pin and trim off crusts.
- Make the Filling: Mix melted butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon until smooth.
- Fill and Roll: Spread filling thinly on bread and roll tightly into logs.
- Make the Egg Wash: Whisk eggs, milk, cinnamon, and vanilla until blended.
- Cook the Roll-Ups: Dip rolls in egg wash and cook in buttered skillet until golden on all sides.
Notes
- These roll-ups can be served with syrup or whipped cream for extra sweetness.
- Feel free to add nuts or raisins to the filling for added texture.
