Description
A delicious recipe for grilled ham steaks glazed with teriyaki sauce.
Ingredients
Scale
- 3 large ham steaks
- 1 cup teriyaki sauce
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup crushed pineapple
- 1 Tablespoon corn starch
Instructions
- Turn barbecue grill burners on high with the lid down to heat up.
- In a small bowl, mix together the cornstarch with 2 Tablespoons cold water. Set aside.
- In a small sauce pan over medium heat, mix together the teriyaki sauce, brown sugar, and crushed pineapple.
- Whisk the mixture into your saucepan over the stove. Bring the sauce to a boil, then remove from heat when it begins to thicken.
- Place ham steaks on grill. They only need a few minutes on each side, just long enough to make nice grill marks. Glaze each side before turning with the teriyaki mixture.
- Remove from the grill to a serving plate and top with the remaining sauce.
Notes
- Ensure the grill is properly heated for optimal grilling.
- Do not overcook the ham steaks to prevent them from drying out.
