Delicious cookies made with tart cranberries and zesty orange.
Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter (softened)
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup dried cranberries
- Zest from 1 orange
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
- In a large bowl, cream softened butter with granulated and brown sugars until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the egg and vanilla until well mixed.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture until just combined.
- Fold in dried cranberries and orange zest.
- Drop spoonfuls of dough onto lined baking sheets, spacing them two inches apart.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes until golden around the edges but soft in the center.
- Allow to cool on wire racks before serving.
Notes
- For a more intense orange flavor, add extra zest.
- Store cookies in an airtight container for up to a week.
