- 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup heavy cream, chilled
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Prepare the Strawberries: Wash and hull the strawberries, then slice them in half.
- Blend Strawberries: In a blender, combine sliced strawberries and sugar. Blend until smooth; set aside.
- Whip the Cream: In a mixing bowl, combine heavy cream and vanilla extract. Using an electric mixer, whip until soft peaks form (about 3 minutes).
- Combine Mixtures: Gently fold the strawberry mixture into the whipped cream using a spatula to maintain airiness.
- Chill: Spoon mousse into serving dishes and refrigerate for at least 2 hours until set.
- Serve: Garnish with fresh strawberry slices before serving.
