- 4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
- 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce (or tamari for gluten-free)
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Lemon wedges, for serving
- Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.
- Place the salmon fillets skin-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
- In a small bowl, whisk together maple syrup, soy sauce, minced garlic, black pepper, and olive oil.
- Brush or spoon the maple glaze evenly over each fillet, making sure they are well coated.
- Bake the salmon for 12–15 minutes, or until it flakes easily with a fork and the top is slightly caramelized.
- Serve hot with your choice of sides, such as jasmine rice, roasted vegetables, or salad.
- Garnish with lemon juice and fresh parsley if desired.
