Description

Delicious crêpes layered with a creamy vanilla filling and fresh strawberries, perfect for serving 8–10 people.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 ½ cups milk
  • ¼ cup melted butter
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 ½ teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 ½ cups finely chopped fresh strawberries

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk flour, sugar, and salt. Add eggs, milk, melted butter, and vanilla. Whisk until smooth. Chill for 30 minutes.
  2. Cook thin crêpes in a lightly buttered non-stick pan (about 20–22 cm). You should get 20–25 crêpes. Cool completely.
  3. Whip heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla until medium-stiff peaks form.
  4. Assemble: Place one crêpe on a plate, spread a thin layer of whipped cream, sprinkle a small amount of chopped strawberries. Repeat layers until finished.
  5. Chill the cake for at least 3–4 hours to set.
  6. Decorate with whipped cream and whole strawberries before serving.
